Ka Chun (Johnny) Chan
Director / Occupational Therapist

Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Johnny was a system engineer, and then he went into post-graduate study of psychology and occupational therapy.

Johnny has worked for the community by providing service to WorkSafe Victoria, NDIS and My Aged Care through the COVID-19 pandemic. Johnny has also worked with Monash Health, where he serviced the population with physical and psychosocial disabilities.

Johnny is a qualified occupational therapy driving assessor and a qualified complex home modification assessor.

THERAPRISE initially provides solely occupational therapy services; but we aim to expand our team and provide with a more comprehensive allied health service profile towards the future.

Occupational Therapy Services:

• Occupational Therapy Driving Assessment & Vehicle Modifications

• Comprehensive Functional Assessment

• Assistive Equipment Consultation/Prescription

• Housing Assessment (SDA/SIL/ILO) for NDIS participants

• Minor home modification assessment, e.g. grabrails, shower safety, etc.

• Complex/Major home modification assessment, e.g. bathroom rebuild, lift installation, etc.

• Individual therapy sessions - life skills training, post-stroke rehabilitation, return-to-work planning, etc.

All services are delivered to our clients in-home, or in the community, or through telehealth.

We accept NDIS participants, Home Care Package recipients, and private clients.
